"Not great if you’ve got hills"
I really thought the motor was going to give me a lot more help, but it struggles badly on hills. Even the small climbs around my neighborhood slow it way down, and I end up pedaling hard like I’m on a regular bike. There’s one hill by my place with a bright purple mailbox halfway up, and every time I pass it I can already feel the bike giving up. It’s probably okay if you’re mostly riding on flat roads, but for hills it was a letdown. Definitely not what I expected from an ebike.

"Honestly tired of dealing with stuff like this"
The box showed up totally wrecked, and at this point I’m kind of exhausted having to chase down issues with deliveries. The packaging was ripped up badly, and the bike had some scuffs on it when I opened it. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely frustrating...

"Return took a little while, but it worked out"
The return took a bit longer than I expected, but the refund did come through in the end. That part was a little slow, I guess, but it’s all good now. Thanks.

"Same assembly headache all over again"
The bike seems fine now that it’s finally put together, but man, the assembly was more annoying than it should’ve been. The instructions were vague, and a few parts just didn’t line up smoothly. I ended up watching videos just to figure out what was going on. It wasn’t the worst thing ever, but it felt like the same frustrating setup issue I keep running into with stuff like this lately

I figured the display on my Rize bike would be easy enough, and it pretty much is. The screen is clear and I can read it fine outside, which I just assumed might be a problem in the sun. The buttons threw me off a little on the first ride, so I was clicking around more than expected, but once I got the hang of it, it felt simple. Overall, good...

"Decent bike, but could be sturdier"
I’ve had my Rize bike for a bit now, and overall it’s been alright. It gets the job done most days, and the battery has actually been dependable. That said, a few parts seem to wear down quicker than I thought they would. I’ve had to tighten things up here and there, and the brakes needed some adjusting too. It’s not a bad bike by any means, I just expected it to feel a little more solid for the price...

"and honestly, it’s just not comfortable"
and I really wanted to like this, but the seat feels way too hard and the handlebar position just doesn’t work for me. Even after short rides, my back and wrists start hurting, so it’s been disappointing overall.

"Warranty help was alright in the end"
The warranty help was okay — not terrible, but definitely slower than I expected. I had to wait around a bit, which was a little frustrating, but they did get it sorted in the end, so there's that.

"I don’t know, maybe it’s just my gut..."
I don’t know, maybe it’s just my gut feeling, but the battery on my Rize seems to drain way faster than it should. I expected more range, and when I’m going up hills, the bike just feels kind of underpowered. It works, but it doesn’t really give me that confident feeling I was hoping for.

"Parts were fine, but I waited longer than expected"
I was a little embarrassed that I needed replacement parts in the first place, but at least they had what I needed. The parts themselves were okay and worked fine, but the shipping took way longer than I expected. Not a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating

"Feels a little overpriced to me"
The bike is fine, like it rides okay and gets the job done, but I don’t know… for the price I expected a bit more. Better parts maybe, or at least better service after buying it. It kind of feels like I paid extra and kept waiting to see what was supposed to be special about it, but nothing really stood out

The bike is decent for the price, and overall it does what I need. The build quality is okay, actually, I’d say mostly okay—but a few parts do feel a little cheap. After a couple rides, I had to tighten some things up, which wasn’t a huge deal, just a bit annoying. It’s been working fine so far, but I guess I expected it to feel a little sturdier

"I’ve been disappointed with the..."
I’ve been disappointed with the brakes on my Rize bike. They feel soft, and when I’m going downhill I feel pressured to slow down way earlier than I should because I don’t fully trust them to stop in time. I’ve tried adjusting them a few times, but they still don’t feel solid. For what the bike costs, I really expected the braking to be a lot better...
